On the June long weekend. Step back in time and celebrate a golden age in Australian history. Australian Poet Henry Lawson will be celebrated and remembered with a grand parade, literary awards, photo competition, street markets, bands and choir, Henry Lawson Centre, Readings from Lawson, Pioneers' Museum, Theatre Restaurant, Guided Historic Walks, Performance Poetry and Workshop, Horse Racing, Poets' Morning Tea, Food Fair and Arts Spectacular.
