Kira Alexander

Kira Alexander began her career on the Sydney cabaret circuit and the Sydney Showboat. She went on to feature in show productions in Australia, Japan and China, supported internationally acclaimed artists and entertained onboard P&O and CTC cruise lines. She also appeared on Australian and the Netherlands television. In 1996 Kira was part of the European tour of Hair starring as the lead character Sheila. On returning from this tour Kira expanded her versatility by recording jingles and promotions for both radio and television. She also toured and musically directed the jazz/soul group Ichka. Throughout 2002 Kira toured Australia with the musical Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs winning rave reviews in the role of the wicked queen. Her debut CD Uncovered was released in 2004. Kira also featured in the Musical Mystery Tour Show in Sydney�s Showtime-Showclub and joined the Karpatsky Gypsey Guitars, performing exciting music from the Balkans at many events including the Sydney Festival, Parramatta�s Riverside Theatre, and Caf� Carnival. Throughout this time Kira has taught students of all ages to sing and perform and she hopes to continue to share her craft with the people of the Warrumbungle region. Kira is available as both a performer and singing teacher. Kira can provide the tools for you to sing with confidence, ensure that you use good style and technique, and is available to teach all ages and in most singing styles. Kira also specialises in coaching for stage performance, multi-lingual singing, establishing good vocal technique and recording studio techniques.
