St Johns School Baradine

Total enrollments: 40 children. St John's School is a K- Primary school in the Bathurst Diocese and is situated in Baradine in north-west NSW. The town relies on the rural, timber and the service industries to sustain its economy. Our mission, 'In partnership with parents, parish and community, St John's Catholic Primary School will provide quality education in a positive and caring learning environment' emphasises that St. John's is very much a 'family school', small enough to be familiar with each child's needs and interests. Our parents are actively engaged in school activities, and the parish continues to support us ensuring a strong and vibrant Catholic community. ICT is a priority and the school purchased an Interactive Whiteboard and accompanying resources. A Learning Support Teacher administers and supervises programs for children with learning difficulties. Each year St. John's School selects CAP funded projects that address the school plan priorities of Numeracy, Literacy and Cultural Experiences. Students are able to join the Moorambilla Choir and the Baradine Combined Schools Band and they participate in workshops conducted by the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music.
