St Michaels Primary Dunedoo

Total enrollments: 49 children. St Michael's School is a K- Catholic school in the Bathurst Diocese and is situated in Dunedoo, a small town which relies on farming and tourism in the Central West of NSW.Our students are encouraged to reflect on the example set by Jesus thus assisting each person to understand and enjoy a life lived in accordance with the Gospel values. We strive to be a welcoming learning community that promotes a quality holistic education and trusting relationships in a caring supportive environment. Initiatives to promote respect and responsibility such as Student Ministries, Buddy System Year and K and and Year Christian Living Camp are undertaken. All children participate in a wide variety of sports and represent the school at local and state level. Our emphasis in on enjoyment, willing participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The school has a range of extracurricular activities including Choir, Tournament of the Minds, Student Ministries and Sporting Teams.We have developed a comprehensive Pastoral Care Policy based on the Gospel values of justice and respect for the individual.
