Mick Picton and John Cook have recently formed the two-piece band called Stompbox. They play their own style of original blues such as Robert Johnson & Muddy Waters together with early 60s & 70s Rock & Roll (Rolling Stones & Animals) with also some modern covers (Angels & Hoodoo Gurus). Mick does Lead Vocals, Electric and Metal Resonator Guitar plus Percussion, and John does Harmony Vocals and Electric Bass. The percussion is provided by the Stompbox, which is an adapted Spanish Drum that Mick sits on and beats percussion on at the same time as singing and playing guitar. Stompbox has a unique sound!
